Bali's Mesmerizing Kecak Fire & Trance Dance

Hi semua kawan ! It is time for the Kecak dance ! Yeah ~ For us, this is an especially unique and possibly the most dramtic of all Balinese dances. It is a combination of dance and drama that tells the story of Prince Rama, who with the help of the monkey-like Vanara defeats the evil King Ravana to save his beloved Princess Sita. I have a copy of the story but I lost it somewhere... Sobs* Anyway, it is a fantasy love story that is worth seeing it. Thumbs up*

Not only that, we got the best seats in the house to see the beautiful sunset. This is my first time seeing sunset in real live and with my loved ones together. Happy*

Those men sitting around on the floor are not ordinary people. They have special voice control or something. They are the ones who made all those sounds and music for this Kecak dance. That is why they called it the Kecak dance. At first it was kind of funny because you keep hearing cak cak cak kecak... After a while you will get quiet and gawk all the way, like me. Laughed*

The person who is in green costume is Prince Rama and the other one is Princess Sita (yellow costume). I love their face expression while they were dancing around those men. I wonder how long they have been learned this dance ? Hmm...

This Kecak dance took us an hour to finish and after that, people can take photos with the characters. Unfortunately, we did not take any photos with them because of too many people. In my opinion, this is one of the best dance performances that I have ever seen. I definitely will come back again and watch with my family and let them gawk all the way. Laughed*

Another selfie photo of us while waiting for the Kecak dance to begin. LoL... Did I tell you that this Kecak dance is only around RM30 per person? It is affordable, reasonable and a must to see for yourself ! Highly recommend for everyone !!!

This is the end of our 1st day in Bali. Stay tuned for our next day trip... Can you guess why are we stranded in Kuta ??? LoL

Discovering Uluwatu temple in Bali

Selamat pagi semua ! This blog is about us visiting the Uluwatu temple in Bali. According to my research, this temple is called Pura Luhur Uluwatu. "Luhur" means "something of divine origin" while "Uluwatu" can be broken into "Ulu" which means "land's end" and "watu" means "rock". I can say that it is a holy temple that sets on the cliff bank with stunning views. Thumbs up*

To us, Uluwatu temple is the most magnificent temple on the island of Bali. Although we are not too sure what the view is like from within the inner temple itself, but the rest are really beautiful especially on two different parts of the temple that are northern and southern areas.

This is one of our favorite selfie photos. Happy* It is hard to take nice selfie photos using my DSLR camera. It is heavy and big but is worth it. Satisfied* I highly recommend everyone to come to this temple and turn yourself into selfie mode madness ! Laughed*

Some of the photos were taken by our driver. He is really enjoyed taking photos and they turned out pretty good. Laughed* Good job !!! Another selfie photo of us with different background. LoL...

I do not know why I sat there but I did and he cannot stop taking photos of me. LoL... I like the leafless tree though. Hehe...

We enjoyed visiting the Uluwatu temple in Bali. Too bad we do not have enough time to walk to the end of the cliff. I think it will take another 30 minutes to go there due to human traffic jam. At least we got time to watch the famous Kecak dance and watch the beautiful sunset. Winked* Yeah ~ That is all for today.

Stay tuned for the famous Kecak dance... Cak cak cak...

Where is Padang Padang Beach ?

Salam semua ! Today is blog about Padang Padang beach in Bali. It is not only famous as one of best surf spots but also as the filming location of the English movie called Eat Pray Love. Its white sand and clear blur sea once caressed Julia Roberts.

Although, I have not watch the movie but at least I already been there. LoL... For me, this beach is quite small and always pack with westerners. I still like Nusa Dua beach though. Laughed*

#3 Padang Padang Beach

On that day, there was some construction going on, so that is why this photo is a bit hazy. It was full of people and I cannot even take a proper photo. Annoyed* Anyway, these are my best shots.

During the trip, we also went to taste the famous Luwak coffee which is known as cat poop coffee. However, I found out that this is not the most expensive coffee in the world but something else. The most expensive coffee in the world is Click Here

#4  Luwak Coffee cafe at Bukit Sari

Before
After
Ready to serve for only RM15
I do not like the taste of Luwak coffee because it is too bitter. He ended up drinking it finish with full of bitterness look on his face. Giggled* Besides the coffee, they also offered us free teas to taste. If I am not mistaken, I think it is about 12 different teas. Some teas were taste awful and others were quite nice. In the end, I bought the lemongrass tea for my dad. Laughed* After that, we moved on to our next destination. Winked* Can you guess ?

Stay tuned for our next stop in Bali...
